Story

The “Time Photo Studio” is located in one corner of a busy shopping and entertainment district.
It is operated by two young men by the names of Toki (Cheng Xiaoshi) and Hikaru (Lu Guang), who possess powers to grasp and intervene in events occurring in the past through photographs. Specifically, Toki is able to link up with the consciousness of the person taking a photo, then enter and act in the world pictured. Hikaru has the capacity to perceive events occurring for 12 hours after a photograph is taken. They mobilize their respective gifts to mutually transmit and supplement information in performing investigations. For Toki, the chance encounter with Hikaru, who has always had such supernatural powers, enables him to develop his own aptitude. After that, working through Rin (Qiao Ling), a childhood friend of Toki, the two young men respond to requests from clients plagued by events from the past.
In responding to client needs, Toki initially follows the two conditions set forth by Hikaru to “Never question the past, and never open the future,” as well as the rule “The past must never be altered.” However, driven by a strong sense of justice, Toki eventually does interfere with past events, which results in gradual changes in the future.

JIKO DAIRININ (LINK CLICK) is a Web anime production by the Lan Studio, distributed on Bilibili from April 30 through July 9, 2021. The second installment of the production is scheduled for release in 2023, while the decision has also been made to produce a version with real actors.
On the global market, the original version (titled Link Click in English) is distributed on Funimation and other streaming services. In Japan, a Japanese language dubbed version has been broadcast on TOKYO MX and other services since January 9, 2022. The production is also being steadily offered on other subscription video-on-demand service sites.
