Story
Origin of Lies is a short movie project envisioned to produce films by a number of up-and-coming directors on the theme of “lies.” Two films have been completed as the first stage of this undertaking – Drawing Song and White Lie.
Drawing Song is a project conceived by Director Tomoya Sugioka. The film stars Dai Goto as a portrait artist whose paintings generate images of the true feelings of his subjects.
White Lie was directed by Yuya Taniguchi and stars Coco in the role of a lady job hunter. The story portrays the personal growth achieved by Coco’s character in coming to grips with the person she used to be.
